Yoshi is a fictional dinosaur from the video game created by the Japanese Shigefumi Hino in 1990. He appears in many video games in the Super Mario series as well as in some games in which he plays the leading role, such as Yoshi’s Story, released in 1997 for Nintendo 64 or Yoshi’s Island DS, released in 2006 for Nintendo DS.
Initially, it comes in the form of a green reptile similar to a dinosaur. Yoshi is a peaceful creature that is an ally of Mario’s and is often used as his mount. He is originally from Yoshis Island (Yoshi’s Island), where he lived peacefully until the day he saved Mario, still a baby, falling from the sky on the island.
