The Wizard of Oz tells the story of Dorothée, an orphaned little girl who lives in rural Kansas with her uncle Henry and aunt Em. She is often bored in the small grey farm, lost in the middle of the plains, grey too, and only her little dog Toto brings a little cheerfulness to her monotonous life.

However, everything changes the day a cyclone hits the country, and takes the small house with it in the air, Dorothée and Totalisation included. However, one day, a cyclone shook the region, and Dorothée did not even have time to take refuge in the cellar.

She finds herself isolated with Toto in the house. A house that swirls through the air like an inflatable balloon to find itself “leagues and leagues” from Kansas. In a finally calm atmosphere, Dorothée joins her bed and sinks into a deep sleep.
