Powerpuff Girls is built around the adventures of Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, three kindergarten sisters with superpowers. The plot of a typical episode is a humorous variation of the standard superhero or tokusatsu rate, with girls using their powers to defend their city against various villains, such as criminals, guards, and giant monsters. Also, girls face typical problems, such as bed-wetting or dependence on safety blankets.
After having been one of Cartoon Network’s flagship cartoons from 1998 to 2005, Les Supers Nanas made their comeback in 2016 in a new version. This reboot, which allows us to find the trio again in primary school, introduced in the latest episode nothing less than a new superhero.
