Stegosaurus Coloring Pages For Kids
This dinosaur lived in the midwestern United States at the same time as large carnivorous predators such as Allosaurus and Ceratosaurus and sauropod titans such as Diplodocus and Brachiosaurus. Stegosaurus’ brain is infamous for being tiny compared to the rest of his body. One wonders how a four-ton dinosaur could survive and grow with a peanut in its head.
The amount of usable grey matter had to be very limited. Fortunately for the Stegosaurus, he only had to be slightly more intelligent than the plants he swallowed and have only rudimentary reflexes to avoid predator attacks. So although he is one of the dumbest dinosaurs, his intelligence was enough to thrive in the wild states of the North American Upper Jurassic.
