Ambulances are called by phone when there is an accident, or someone is in serious condition. The ambulance driver is the one responsible for driving the vehicle, and there is also a doctor responsible for applying first aid to the injured person, and a nurse who assists the doctor.
When called, the ambulance is first responsible for going to the scene of the accident and then bring first aid to the wounded on the spot, then to transport the person as quickly as possible but safely to the nearest hospital.
The person is carried on a stretcher, and the paramedics must be careful because if the seriously injured limb is too agitated, it may deteriorate.
